Peter Dmitriyev is a NJ/NY based Cinematographer who has shot dozens of music videos, narrative films, commercials, corporate videos, and webseries. Having spent a lot of time learning the ropes on set in various roles like grip and gaffer, Peter graduated to doing videography for weddings and corporate clients and then joined in the digital revolution by shooting narrative work on DSLR's before graduating up to higher end packages like the Red.
Shooting a vast variety of projects with a myriad of clients, Peter has established a reputation for a clarity of visual direction, inspiring collaborative effort, and a unique eye for catching the emotional nuances of a scene through steadfast commitment to the mastery of both lighting and composition.
Peter looks up to the naturalistic style of Emmanuel Lubezki and Roger Deakins and strives to imbue each frame with subtle expressions of the psychological undertones that represent the story.
